As a stylist you see a lot of fashions come and go. Louise and I where talking about the up coming training sessions we have for our Parramatta and Carlingford salons. Damien Rayner one of Sydney’s top colourists will again be doing some creative colour training with all our team. So Louise and I where discussing the influence that Balayage has had on our industry and whether we thought the trend was ever going to go out of fashion.

I did some research online and it just confirms what Louise and I have been seeing in the salon. Balayage is still going mad. Everywhere you look, online, on the streets and in our salon, it still has a massive influence on the styles being worn today.

Why I hear you ask? It is a versatile, classic and easy to maintain look. The technique can be done on short to long hair, and it suits a wide range of ages. However, not a technique that should be tried at home. Our team goes through lots of training to be able to Balayage. It is still being worn by lots of celebrities, which always give us a good feel about what’s in fashion. Here are some examples of some beautiful Balayage being done by our stylists at both our Parramatta and Carlingford salons.

We are really looking forward to doing some more training with Damien in March and April. Once the training has been done, I will do a summary on what’s happening in the world of colour today. Meanwhile keep watching InstagramPinterest and our Facebook page and we will be able to update you instantly on our new looks and the training with Damien!

Cheers,
