The Bob

Talk about a style that has lasted through the ages. It just goes to show that a classic look is timeless. It’s like listening to a song that never seems to date, or a classic piece of clothing that looks just as good as the day you bought it years later.

There are many variations of the bob, and over time it has been worn by lots of celebrities. The one that comes to mind in recent times is good old Victoria Beckham. Has anyone seen her smile yet?

The bob was created by Vidal Sassoon who revolutionised hairdressing back in the sixties. He was the person who introduced hairstyles to us through cutting form and shape into the hair rather than relying on setting and styling hair, even today his influence is still very relevant. He is my number one inspiration in hairdressing, and I have been lucky enough to attend The Sassoon Academy in Mayfair London.

Bobs come in all different types of variations and suit most ages. I am going to list a few below with images included.
