Balayage Parramatta at Hair by Phd

Balayage is a hair colouring technique that has taken the world by storm. So much so that home hair colour companies have started creating DIY Balayage kits for people to play with at home. When I saw the first ad for this on TV, I rubbed my hands together and started thinking about how many colour repairs we will get in the salon.

Balayage is a technique that I can only explain as an art form. It is a much specialised skill and unless you have had the training and practice you will fail miserably. I am not a fan of home hair colouring although I do concede that people have certain restraints from visiting a hair salon. These might be financial and time pressures.

Throwing on a colour at home to cover unwanted grey hairs or just to change your look is one thing but to try and perform Balayage or any other form of high-lighting technique can prove disastrous.

At Hair by Phd our team has undergone training with one of Sydney’s top freelance colourists Damien Raynor. We are constantly working on fine tuning our skills in Balayage and all forms of our hairdressing skills to bring you the latest in Hair Fashion.
