Since the launch of our Carlingford salon in November 2014, the salon has gone from strength to strength, bringing in new apprentices, a host of new clients and a range of customers from all across the north western region, including areas like West Pennant Hills, North Rocks, Telopea, Ryde and Castle Hill. This shows that the work being produced by our team at Carlingford is absolutely top of their game, and today we want to showcase some of those amazing looks.

Above we have a blue under-colour, designed to give a real pop to this beautiful brunette hair. An edgier style that shows real individuality and creativity, the evenness of the blue colour here is a real highlight. Typically, blue tones are harder to hold in the hair, as they are from the complete opposite colour spectrum to natural hair colours, which are normally in the range of warm tones. carlingford-hairdresser2

This soft pastel, rose-gold balayage was achieved with our Schwarzkopf colours and really shows off our clients ivory skintone. This is a soft look for those not wanting to go as overly dramatic with their colour but still wanting to move away from natural tone.

This beautiful bruntte-to-red colour melt is one of the most popular looks from our Carlingford salon on Instagram. Beautiful Autumn colour tones, perfect for trans-seasonal dressing, and a soft blend between the two colours. This colour will age on the hair really nicely, so don’t be afraid to go Ombre.

And finally, our piece de resistance! From a very average and uneven blonde, to a metallic blue grey, this colour is going to be huge this winter, as an extension of the grey-hair trend we saw happening last year. Using Olaplex with this colour allowed us to achieve our clients desired look whilst maintaining the hairs condition. I’m sure you would agree the beautiful tones of this blue grey are just to die for!

So which is YOUR favourite look out of our Carlingford salon? Do you know anyone in the area that could really use a great hairdresser that understands what they are looking for? If so, please SHARE this post, we want to make as much beautiful hair as we can!

If  you haven’t done so already check out our Facebook page and like us to follow all that is happening at Hair by Phd. You can also follow us on InstagramPinterest and Google+.

Sarkis will be back from hist surgery in a few weeks, and we will be talking about the change in hair trends as we move into winter!
