“I love my mummy because she reads to me and lies down next to me. She is also a very good coach and is very kind.”

This is the answer I got from my six year old Sam when I asked him what he loves about mummy. Charlie his twin brother says that

“She is good at netball; she is kind to me and very loving.”

What does your Mum mean to you?

Every year at this time of the year we are reminded about what our mums mean to us. I would have to say that mums play a massive roll in all our lives. They should be rewarded everyday as I wrote in my post last year. Should everyday be Mother’s Day? You can read that post by clicking here.

Let’s celebrate our mums this Mother’s Day and make a real fuss over them. At Hair by Phd we are going to do exactly that. The sparkling wine will be flowing for the whole week leading up to Mother’s Day and thanks to the girls at Nailtech Training and Supplies we will be giving everyone in the salon a complimentary soothing hand massage and/or manicure.

You can also spoil mum with the gift of beautiful hair. That’s right our famous Mother’s Day Gift Vouchers are on offer again!

P.S. I hope you enjoyed my ‘Champion Mums of Today” post last week. The feedback and comments are very much appreciated. I think I accumulated a few brownie points with that post. I saw Briony crying when she was reading it. If you missed out on it you can read it by clicking here.
